How the fill works

Every vector is filled and the overlaps are cleared, the same result as Inkscape's Fill plus Path, Exclusion, with the strokes turned off. It runs when your file loads and updates by itself when you remove a line or change the cut line.

Cut line and border

No cut line set. Every line prints.

The cut line is the outline your cutter follows. It is left out of the PNG and out of the fill, and is set to the outermost line when a file loads. You can also build one from the art:
